Hi, I’m Danielle
I’m an art therapist, counselor, supervisor, educator, and creative at heart. I believe some of the most meaningful growth happens when we have space to slow down, get curious, and connect.
Hands & Hearts has evolved quite a bit over the years, but the heart of my work has stayed remarkably consistent: I believe meaningful growth often begins when we have enough space to slow down, get curious, and feel genuinely seen.
My work has taken many forms, from sitting alongside clients and supporting developing clinicians to facilitating groups, designing programs, teaching, creating, and exploring more holistic approaches to well-being.
What connects all of it is my interest in the whole person behind the role, problem, or goal.
What it's like to work with me.
I don't believe growth has to be rigid, overly clinical, or perfectly planned.
I tend to bring curiosity, warmth, creativity, humor, and a healthy amount of “let's see what happens if we try this” into my work. Sometimes that means talking something through. Sometimes it means making art, looking at something from a completely different angle, learning a new skill, or simply creating enough space to notice what's already there.
You don't need to show up with everything figured out. Curiosity is a perfectly good place to begin.
The professional side.
